The Why Behind My Stamp

I started Joy Unspeakable Notary Services in October of 2023—not just as a business, but as an answer to a call I could no longer ignore. After nearly three decades of working as a Paralegal, notarizing documents became second nature to me. I had spent years behind the scenes ensuring paperwork was precise, signatures were accurate, and legal standards were met. But after retiring from corporate life, I realized I wasn’t done—not by a long shot. I still had something valuable to give.
What began as “just doing a few signings” quickly grew into a passion. I wasn’t only helping people with paperwork; I was showing up during some of life’s biggest moments—buying a home, starting a business, finalizing estates, or navigating tough transitions. Each appointment became a ministry of professionalism, patience, and purpose.
They say, “It’s what’s in a name that counts.” And for me, that couldn’t be more true. I chose the name Joy Unspeakable Notary because it's more than a feeling—it’s a presence. It’s the kind of joy that doesn’t always shout or sparkle, but settles quietly in your spirit. It’s steady. Unshakable. It’s the kind of joy that isn’t tied to circumstances, but to something greater—something divine.
That’s the atmosphere I wanted to create for my clients. Whether I’m notarizing a simple form or guiding someone through a major life transaction, I want them to feel that same peace. That same assurance. That same quiet joy. My business is built on providing notary services with precision and professionalism—but underneath it all, my true foundation is faith. Because when joy is your anchor, everything you do carries a different kind of meaning. While my work centers on notary services, the true foundation of my business is faith.
I also knew from the start that I wanted to do more than loan signings. My skills and background made it natural to expand into services like Apostille facilitation, I-9 verifications, fingerprinting, and permit running. But more than that, I wanted to build a business that solved real problems for real people—especially those who feel overwhelmed by paperwork, process, or red tape. I bring clarity to chaos, one signature at a time. This is a one-woman operation, but don’t let that fool you. I bring the excellence, efficiency, and follow-through of a full team. I’ve worked in high-stakes corporate environments where there was no room for error, and I bring that same precision into every signing—whether it’s at a title company, hospital bedside, or someone’s kitchen table.
So, the why behind my stamp? It’s simple. I do this because people matter. Because details matter. Because the way you show up in business reflects what you believe. And I believe in showing up fully—on time, prepared, and ready to serve with excellence.
To God be the Glory for it All.
